On 5 Febrary 2021, Mr. Robert Riley – US Consul in Barcelona – gave a virtual seminar to graduate students of the UAB. The sessions was entitled “The international relations of the new US administration, and especially with the EU”.
The session gathered students of the Masters programme of European Integration, PhD students in law and UAB researchers from various faculties. The session was moderated by Dr Josep Maria de Dios, director of the European Studies Institute of the UAB.
Mr. Riley addressed relevant topics such as the new COVID19 policy in the US, the external relations of the US, and the rejoining of the US to the Paris Convention, and the new cooperation with EU countries.
Participants were interactive and led to a very fruitful Q&A session at the end of Mr. Riley’s speech.
