For second year, the Institute for European Studies has successfully completed the course “Introduction to the European Union” funded by the European Commission as part of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Module EUCONAS.
This year the three-week course (60 hours) has been carried out in an online format, and this has allowed reaching more attendees (an average of 50 attendees) from all over the world.
The course has combined core sessions on the history, institutions and objectives of the EU, with more specific sessions on different EU policies (environment, human rights, gender, privacy, security, migration, etc).
The students have been able to interact and actively participate in each session through electronic tools that have facilitated online debate and dialogue.
